Kayaking on the Sólheimajökull Glacier Lagoon
1.Kayaking on the Sólheimajökull Glacier Lagoon
Kayak near Sólheimajökull Glacier in an easy dry-suit setup, paddling among icebergs for 2.5 hours from Vik.

“Really cool to kayak close to icebergs and even touch them. They provide a drysuit with boots & gloves, but wish I could have used my own gloves as the ones they provided had holes and were soaking wet. While I enjoyed the kayaking, the "little hike" to the water is about 1/4 mile and painful on the feet as you are walking in thin rubber booties, and there's no actual 'path.' The volcanic rock and pebbles lay as nature put them, an some are sharp and jagged. Several times, I almost fell and I found it really painful to walk both there and back. It's quite a trek actually.…”
