“I never write reviews but felt compelled to after today. I had an amazing day, with an amazing guide, and was truly thankful for the experience. Sara was attentive, knowledgeable, extremely kind, and has a killer music playlist. On the glacier hike specifically, she gave clear instructions, reviewed safety guidelines thoroughly, and made sure everyone was wicked comfortable. I wish I had her as my guide for all my excursions. The HIGHLIGHT was it was my birthday and she kindly surprised me with a slice of cake along the way. So unexpected, but so grateful. I was really appreciative of that. HIGHLY recommend SARA!!!”

“Your day starts off by your driver picking you up at your stop, which went perfectly. Our driver Sveinbjorn was excellent. Right from the start he makes you feel welcome, nice calm icleandic music in the background and talking about Iceland. Since everything is based on a schedule during the day, Sveinbjorn made sure that we had plenty of time at each stop all the while keeping us on schedule. When you get to the Glacier Hike he introduces you to your guide and makes sure you have all your equipment. They wait for you on their bus while you are doing the tours so there is no need to…”

Our tour guide Gylfi was absolutely brilliant - incredibly knowledgeable, passionate and kept everyone smiling throughout. The glacier hike was a one of a kind activity and just magical! The glacier hike requires ankle boots, with a fee if you require rented ones, so something to keep in mind! Overall, I highly recommend this trip!!”

“This was one of the best activities that I booked for my Iceland trip! Francesco, was the absolute most amazing guide myself or the group could have possibly have asked for, he made sure all of us learned how to do everything and were safe before we did everything (the crampons and walking on the ice with them, climbing, rappelling, etc). We were able to do and see so much in the amount of time we had for this tour. If I come back and do this activity again, I would for sure try and request him!”

Small-group Reykjavik south coast day with waterfalls, Reynisfjara black sand, and a beginner glacier hike on Sólheimajökull with certified guides.

“We really loved this tour, the sights were spectacular. I would recommend making sure you are fit enough for the glacier hike and I also recommend hiking shoes and cold weather gear...it is a glacier after all. Our group had several very overweight and elderly people on the tour and it was a challenge for them and a couple of them left to return to the bus before we reached the glacier. It wasted some of our time on the glacier since we were waiting for them to return. The guide for the hike was really great but she was told by our main tour guide to get us back…”
